Latest Updates from Our Project:
Hit our #1 Stretch Goal, A New Poll For #2, & #3 Revealed!

I didn't want to spam everyone with "Yay!" over and over yesterday, so I'm stretching these updates out. (See what I did there? If we fund our 2nd Stretch Goal today, this pun will get even more traction!) :D
So, we've officially signed on for both the game(!) and Stretch Goal #1:character-accurate rabbit meeples. I'm looking forward to seeing our fabulous characters come to life!
Next up is Stretch Goal #2: Player Boards at $16k.
We're already over halfway to this goal!
So, Samantha (our game designer) and I have been fiddling with the base design for these player boards for the last couple weeks. We've gone back and forth over the results of our Player Board Poll (ends today!), and our playtesting notes from the past year.
Ultimately, we're left with a final question about the design, which will help us finalize our core concept, and we really need your help. It's a very brief question, and you're welcome to comment on this update or participate in one last poll -
Our third Stretch Goal is an important component to any game that will help preserve its components for a long time to come!
That's right, we're talking a custom, vacuum-formed, plastic insert for your game box. We will definitely adjust the deck slots so you can add card sleeves! ;)
This relatively small hop up in funding will just continue to push us toward an amazing product that you'll be excited to show off at your next game night.
Stretch Goal #4 will be revealed after we've achieved our 2nd one! Given how far we've come in the last weekend, and the fact that we have 7 whole days left, I'm confident that we're going to see a few more SGs come to life before we're through!
Remember to share the campaign using the handy Social Media buttons on the front campaign page! And, as always, thank you all so much for your support!
+100% Funded! Stretch Goals Ahead!

. The best reason to be awake at 5 a.m. on a Sunday is to be excited about completing your funding goal!
Even more exciting - we have 8 days left! That's an incredible amount of time to continue to pull in new support and totally smash our Stretch Goals.
Talking about Stretch Goals, we're only $134 (as of me writing this) away from our first ($14,750) - a more character-accurate wooden meeple! These will be 4 individual pawns, representing the 4 Tribal Leaders in Rabbit Island!
Our next Stretch Goal hits at $16,000 - a player board with Quick Reference information & a Victory Point tracker! In fact, I'm excited to announce that we'll be adding a wooden Tribal Emblem Tracker to use on your board. The Tribal Leaders wear these Emblems to represent their station within their Tribe.
. Finally, an update about the Character Poll...
Since I've got you here anyway, I might as well fill you in on the fact that Team Saffron pulled ahead in the final days of the Character Poll!
Our amazing artist is unfortunately going to be out of commission until the 13th (she's got big Real Life Things going on, and she sends her apologies!), but that gives us plenty of time to organize another Live Drawing Event for later this week.
Luckily, before she had to step away from the computer this weekend, she was able to send me a rough draft of Saffron, so we've at least started the process.
. Thank you all SO MUCH for getting us this far. Your support has been amazing, and I can't wait to see where we end up before the campaign is officially over!
Less than $1k left to raise! And a closer look at What's In the Box!

. As we round the week down here on Friday, I just want to express my sincere gratitude for all the awesome support and effort you all have made in helping to fund, sharing the campaign, and upping your pledges when you can.
I realized that I did a lot of info sharing when doing updates on the old campaign page, but haven't really informed the new backers what they're getting! If you are watching this campaign with a $1 pledge, looking for the right hook to convince you to raise your pledge to the $36 core reward or the $44 "extra" reward, hopefully some of the following information will put you over the edge!
You know what's in the box, component-wise, from the graphic on the front-page. But, quality-wise, we're starting right out of the door with:
Game Box- 2mm chipboard w/ Linen Finish - While 1.5mm chipboard would be okay, the thicker the chipboard, the stronger the box; it holds up better while shipping and on your shelves at home. Also, the linen finish just feels better to the touch!
Map Tiles, Carrot Tokens, and other punchboard material - 3mm chipboard w/ Linen Finish - talking about "thicker holding up better" we want to make sure the components that will see the most use will hold up the best. The Map Tiles will be sitting on a variety of surfaces, and will be handled often. The heavier they are, the less likely they'll shift on your table while you're playing. . We're looking into changing the Carrot Token into an actual carrot shape (instead of a circle), and a thicker punchboard means less fraying around the edges over time.
Movement & Action Cards - Ivorycore (or, whitecore)w/ Linen Finish - while not quite as thick as blackcore, ivorycore cards have an excellent snap, and hold up well under most playing conditions, even with kids!
While there are a few component upgrades that we would love to be able to add in on top of these features (**cough**vacuumed formed box insert**cough**), we're really pleased to be able to offer quality components immediately.
Finally, a poll update...
Our Character Poll ends today!Take a moment and vote if you haven't already! It looks like Team Saffron is going to pull ahead for the win...unless Team Acorn jumps the count back up!
I know there's a way for us to fit all of the necessary information on the board, we'll make it happen if we need to!
Thanks again, everybunny! Let's keep this momentum up, and hit that initial funding goal sooner than later!
Introducing Cobalt & our 2nd Stretch Goal!
– Thu, Jul 06, 2017 at 03:33:06 AM
. I woke up this morning and was pleased to see that the holiday didn't slow us down one bit! Those fireworks last night were clearly celebrating us closing in on our funding goal :D
Today's update will touch on two things - Cobalt & the next Stretch Goal!
~*~*~
Cobalt, Tribal Leader & Fisherbun Extraordinaire!
. Monday night, our artist got the inking and flat colors done on Cobalt, the blue Cursus Tribal Leader! If you're always reaching for the Blue Pawn, he's the one for you!
Like all good fisher-bunnies, Cobalt has a Big Fish story that he loves to tell - and the fish gets bigger and scarier each time!
Are you the "Big Fish" storyteller in your gaming group? Check out Cobalt's Reward ($200)! After the campaign, help us illustrate Cobalt's "fantasy fish" - does it have horns? rainbow scales? a glowing bait dangle-thingie?
Your fish will be featured on a page in the rulebook & you will receive a high-quality print of the same - along with a copy of the game and any other items that may be bundled in!
As promised, I'm revealing our 2nd Stretch Goal now that we're at about 90% funded.
If you've played the game - or if you've seen our graphics on the main page - you know that it comes with a paper scorepad (which is also the "Year" (round) tracker) and a Quick Reference sheet (which has tile stats & the turn order breakdown).
We'd like to meld these two items and make 4 player boards, each featuring a Tribal Leader, Quick Ref information, and Victory Point Tracker. The Year Tracker will be a separate item that can go to whomever wants to be the round tracker! In addition, we will include 4 wooden Tribal Emblem Victory Point tracker pieces, & a "Most Carrot" and "Biggest Harvest Group" marker tokens!
Because the player board will have a Victory Point Tracker on it, we don't want to make it double-sided (i.e., Quick Ref information on one side, tracker on the other). This means the space we do have to use is limited!
We'll run this poll until next Monday, and then we'll reveal the results (hopefully with a mock-up to go with, if we can put it together in time!).
Thanks for your support, everyone! So happy to have you with us as we round in on our funding goal, and beyond!
75%+! Also: Cobalt Viewing, & "Who's Next?" Poll

– Tue, Jul 04, 2017 at 06:59:07 PM
. Ooooh, this weekend we jumped up to +75%, and we're still rockin' another 2 weeks of productivity. I have a good feeling we'll hitting our main goal before the end of this week!
I've been doing what I can to get the word out and stir up enthusiasm among new fans - help me out by sharing, retweeting, and talking about the campaign!
Two major things to talk about this morning:
Cobalt is getting ready to be inked!
Cobalt is the Blue Tribal Leader for Rabbit Island. If you always pick the blue pawn when you play games, this is a must for you!
You do not need an account to view the event, but you will need one if you want to participate in posting comments during it.
If you have an account, you can also click the green "Follow" button and receive an email notification when the stream goes live tonight at 8 p.m.! This may be more helpful for those of you who need the extra reminder :)
Feel free to share the link with anyone who might be interested in seeing a character come to life! It's amazing watching an artist work their magic, and Amber is especially excellent at it.

Poll: "Who's next?"
There are two more Tribal Leaders following Russet and Cobalt - Saffron and Acorn! We'll be accepting votes until Friday, July 7th.
Here's a little about each of their Tribes:
